Rachel Gikonyo is a financial literacy consultant, wealth advisor, and SME development specialist with over 15 years of experience in banking, investment education, entrepreneurship, and enterprise development. She is the Founder and Lead Consultant at Double Edge Consultancy, where she partners with corporates, entrepreneurs, investment groups, and development organizations to deliver financial literacy training, financial wellness programmes, retirement planning, and strategic wealth advisory.

Rachel previously held senior leadership roles at Stanbic Bank and Barclays Bank of Kenya, including serving as Head of Workplace and Diaspora Banking at Stanbic Bank. During her tenure, she led strategic growth initiatives that delivered over KES 4 billion in asset growth while acquiring more than 10,000 new customers.

She is a certified trainer under the International Labour Organization Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) programme and has successfully completed professional training with the Chartered Institute for Securities Investment (CISI), strengthening her expertise in investment principles, financial markets, and ethical advisory.
